Retail for leisure simply means investing in properties just for going on a holiday etc. like in farmhouses, beach houses etc, which simply means they won’t be living at this place the whole time, in short this won’t be their permanent address, but a house which they only use for vacation purposes. Urban Regeneration

July 13th, 2008 by Leigh Latchford
Respond

Urban Regeneration and renewal schemes are sensitive in any ambience especially in certain cities in the United States where the role of surveyor(s) is catching attention.  Recently community leaders and town planners have expressed fears that some cities would become air conditioned glass boxes if the government continues to allow replacement of historic buildings by high rise office developments for proper renovation schemes to impart new styles and plans for such a process. 3 Shocking Discoveries I Made after 52 Calls to Pre-Foreclosure Sellers

Power of the Internet

I thought it would be a great learning experience to walk you through my discoveries in hunting foreclosure real estate deals.

1 - Precisely when to contact sellers who are in foreclosure

You basically have only one shot when you that seller first picks up the phone at your ring.  The best thing to do is make sure you are calling then at a convenient time for them.   For instance, I once called motivated sellers at 8 am and guess what?  92% of my calls were to sellers that were literally running out the door to go to work and asked me to call them back after 6 pm that night.

So i listened to my ‘future customers’ needs and started to call the for sale by owners between the hours of 6 pm to 8 pm and my success rate skyrocked!

Hoped that gave you some help in your foreclosure real estate hunting!

Another lesson of motivation from desire!

July 9th, 2008 by tammypowell
Respond

Well this one is a little bit more ‘funky’ but needless to say, there is another powerful motivation for some of us and that is:

Having the ability to spend more quality of time with my family!

Seriously, one of the main reasons I started looking for other ‘courses’ and ‘ways’ to make money is that I got really really bored and frustrated with my regular JOB!  I started to feel like a ‘robot’ and that all the college education I took really only led me to this 60 plus hour a week stressed out job!

So I write this to you because maybe you had the same thoughts and experience and i wanted to let you know that there are other ways to make money and then enjoy your time on your terms!   The life-changing event that happened to me was when I went to a free EWI wealth retreat and I’ve never looked back!

An amazing lesson from today’s Wimbleton tennis champion

July 7th, 2008 by tammypowell

If any of you are sports fans, today was an epic match between two world-class athletes that will go down in history as one of the greatest tennis matches in history!  Raphael Nadal battled it out with past five-time champion Roger Federer.

It was the longest match in Wimbleton history, surpassing the epic match between McEnroe and Bjorg and going into the edge of the evening beckoning these tennis warriors to battle on a darkening field.  The end result?  Nadal finally got that closing edge over Federer to reach the gold of the Wimbleton championship and it was indeed a true match of not just physical stamina and talent, but more importantly, of the MIND!

When Nadal was interviewed after the emotional match, there were two words he repeated to the his interviewers as to “How were you able to stay in the game and persevere to the championship in the battle of the fifth set”.  His word repeatedly were POSITIVE ATTITUDE.

In our real estate business or entrepreuniaral endeavors, we can all learn something today from Nadal as it was truly his positive attitude that ‘kept him in the game’ and allowed him to perservere to reach his childhood goal of winning the Wimbleton!
